Cornet Fish

Cornetfish, also known as flutemouths, are elongated, stealthy predators found in tropical and subtropical waters. With their needle-thin bodies reaching up to 2 meters in length, they are built for speed and ambush hunting. Their long, tubular snout is lined with sharp teeth, allowing them to swiftly snatch small fish and crustaceans. Their silvery-gray coloration provides excellent camouflage, helping them blend seamlessly into open water or shadowy reef environments. Some species can even change color slightly to better match their surroundings, enhancing their ability to remain undetected while stalking prey.
